Early UX/UI exploration of ProductHub
The most obvious customers for Libiutum is the building developers, who are building and selling real estate to their customer. But in the recent years Libitum has been branching out to what we call product developers to sell their products through Libitum’s tools. This can be done in two ways, either sell to the building developer and give the end customer the choice of their products like hardwood floors or kitchen cabinets in their new homes, or selling directly to the end customer to complete their purchase with products like furniture and maybe a new vacuum cleaner.
To make a better experience for both product developers and building developers a new revamped system was to be developed. Where product developers could create a profile, upload and maintain their product catalogue for easy browsing and implementing into the building developers projects.
I was part of the early development and tasked with creating a completely new interface for a prototype that could be developed into the final release.
The bulk of the development was done by a team in China who had never used any of Libitum’s other products. I had to work closely together with the offshore developers to translate out design decisions. After a couple of months they had built a high fidelity prototype that we could test run internally and review for further iterations.
I left Libitum during development, the product is to my knowledge yet to be launched.
